Facilities Management Practice

Care Factor is the single point of contact. Care Factor manages the contracts with its subcontractor to ensure the customer is being provided with best service possible, within the contractual requirements. Care Factor supervises all remedial repair and maintenance activities, provides routine activity logs and reports and provides support to the customer on site and through our emergency response centre. There is no need for our client to have a coordinating role in their facility.

Fire Protection Services

Units and systems are:

  • Fire alarm (intelligent and conventional)
  • Fire suppression (inert gas and sprinkler)
  • Fire extinguishers (all types)

These systems appropriately receive: annual and set year inspections, code tests, trouble calls, parts and repairs, and upon request both temporary and permanent unit replacements

Cleaning Services

Care Factor suggests a monthly schedule to prevent costly and damaging dust build up. Custom cleaning schedules are available. Cleaning areas are: below the raised floor, above the raised floor, floors, exterior equipment and cabinets. All cleaning products are environmentally safe, non-hazardous and non-corrosive. All cleaning tools are environmentally friendly and effective, including a 3-filter vacuum with high efficiency exhaust filtration.

Data Centre Relocation 

Care Factor offers a Relocation service which allows server equipment and Rack(s) to be moved from one data centre to another.

Data Centre Facility Audits

Items for assessment in a computer room audit: power distribution (load necessity, electrical current layout, and physical layout), air conditioning (air balancing, air quality, air flow, and air distribution), fire protection units, emergency power, backup power (UPS), cleaning, monitoring, security, and floor plan. 

Care Factor gathers this data through both on site individual expertise and sophisticated measuring - heat scanning, meter readings, camera recording, computer technology, and trade technology. These recorded results are professionally analyzed and then compiled in a custom report submitted to the customer.
