Care Factor Joins the Fight Against Breast Cancer

On Tuesday May 10th, staff from Care Factor - The Data Centre company participated in National Denim Day in support of the CURE Foundation.
In exchange for a suggested $5 donation, businesses, organizations and institutions across Canada are encouraged to allow employees, members and/or students to wear denim and receive CURE’s ‘pink flower’ ribbon.
According to statistics from the Canadian Cancer Society, 23,200 new cases of breast cancer in women and 180 new cases in men were diagnosed in 2010. Of these, 5,350 proved to be fatal.
Many of our employees dontated and were proudly wearing a pink flower ribbon and blue jeans. Care Factor's President and CEO generously offered a matching company donation to funds raised, brining the grand total to $800!
“Wearing jeans has never been so important!”
